The gravity of the situation became apparent when Jackson’s white blood cell count came back alarmingly high at 174. The young boy was swiftly transferred to St George’s ICU, where he was surrounded by a team of experts and specialized equipment. The support and care provided by the staff at St George’s and The Royal Marsden Hospital became a beacon of hope for the Hall family.
