A 50-year-old man named Raish Ahmed has been identified as the victim of a stabbing incident in Canning Town. He was found injured at a house on Hartington Road along with two others on October 5.

A teenage boy and another man, aged 41, were also injured in the incident, but their injuries were not life-threatening. Unfortunately, Raish Ahmed passed away in the hospital on October 7.

Daniel Whybrow, 46, who resides on Hartington Road, was charged with attempted murder on October 6. The charges against him will be reviewed by the CPS following Mr. Ahmed’s death. Whybrow also faces charges of grievous bodily harm, threats to kill, racially aggravated assault, and possession of an offensive weapon. He is scheduled to appear at Isleworth Crown Court on November 4.

The police have stated that they are not seeking any other suspects in connection with the attack. However, they are urging anyone with information to come forward by contacting the police incident room or Crimestoppers anonymously.

It is truly tragic to hear about the loss of Raish Ahmed in this senseless act of violence. Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time. Let us hope that justice will be served for the victim and that incidents like these can be prevented in the future.
