Road closures have been announced in South East London for several months to accommodate construction works by infrastructure provider BLU-3 or its contractor. The closures will be implemented on specific dates to allow for smooth progress of the works.

Here are the details of the road closures:

– Ilderton Road between Old Kent Road and Patterdale Road will be closed from November 18 to January 24.
– Hatcham Road between Manor Grove and Penarth Street will be closed from November 22 to January 16.
– Ilderton Road between Patterdale Road and Hornshay Street will be closed from January 25 to March 1.
– Ilderton Road at the junction with Hornshay Street will be closed from March 3 to April 14.

During this period, the closures will be in effect at all times of the day. Alternative routes will be signposted for affected traffic, and access to premises will be maintained as much as possible without disrupting the works. Emergency service vehicles, vehicles associated with the works, and vehicles authorized by a police officer will not be subject to these restrictions.
