Carnaby Street is getting ready for the holiday season with a brand new Christmas light display called Into the Light. This year, visitors can expect to see six-meter sculptural light forms and thousands of energy-efficient LEDs lighting up the street with a warm golden glow.
The grand unveiling of the Christmas lights will take place on Thursday, November 7 from 4pm to 8pm. This event will not only feature the stunning light display but also offer a unique shopping and dining experience. Over 50 brands along Carnaby Street, including popular names like Aesop, House of Astrid & Miyu, PANGAIA, and Size?, will be offering exclusive discounts to visitors.
As guests make their way through the star-shaped installations at each entrance, they will be greeted by a festive atmosphere filled with live Christmas choirs performing every 30 minutes. Additionally, a pop-up bar will be serving drinks right on the street, adding to the merry celebrations.
The Christmas spirit will extend beyond Carnaby Street into Kingly Court, where light curtains will create a magical setting for visitors to enjoy delicious offerings from restaurants like Darjeeling Express, La Maritxu, Imad’s Syrian Kitchen, Goldies, and Donia. Moreover, Carnaby Street’s music scene will contribute to the festive ambiance with extended DJ nights at INKO NITO and live music at Nightjar and Ain’t Nothing But.
After the launch event, the holiday cheer will continue with weekly festive shopping nights every Wednesday, known as Soho Nights. This promises to be a great opportunity for visitors to soak in the holiday spirit while enjoying special offers from various brands and restaurants in the area.
