Eltham College Celebrates Exceptional A-level Results

Eltham College is basking in the glory of another year of exceptional A-level results, with one student in particular making headlines for his outstanding achievements. The prestigious London Independent School of the Year 2024, as named by The Sunday Times, has once again produced top-notch results with a high percentage of students securing places at prestigious universities.

This year, the school saw an impressive 90 per cent of results falling within the top three grades of A*, A, and B, with 65 per cent of grades awarded at the coveted A*/A level. Notably, a remarkable 28 per cent of results achieved were the exceptional A* grade, showcasing the high academic standards maintained at Eltham College.

In a striking display of academic excellence, almost one in every seven students (15 per cent) achieved an outstanding suite of at least A*A*A* in their results. Notably, Atharv received his results on the eve of his departure to Brazil to represent the UK at the International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics, showcasing his exceptional talents in the field.

One of the remarkable stories from Eltham College is that of Ukrainian refugee Karina, who was granted a bursary place at the school after fleeing the war in her country.
