Exciting Changes Coming to Romford’s Brewery Shopping Centre
Romford’s popular shopping destination, The Brewery shopping centre, is poised for a major transformation with an upcoming rebrand. The centre has recently submitted a planning application to Havering Council for a comprehensive overhaul of its signage, promising a fresh new look that reflects its vibrant and dynamic atmosphere.
Revamped Signage and Brand Identity
The proposed changes include the installation of four new entrance signs, two chimney signs, and a welcoming totem. One of the most significant alterations is the introduction of a brand new logo for The Brewery, featuring a bold yellow ‘B’ against a sleek black background. This modern and eye-catching design aims to convey the centre’s fun and energetic character to visitors.
In addition, eight of the new signs are set to be illuminated, enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal of the shopping centre. The illuminated signs, including the iconic ‘B’ logo mounted on slatted wood-effect cladding, are intended to showcase the lively evening community that frequents The Brewery. These changes are part of a strategic effort to position the centre as a prime destination for nightlife entertainment in Romford.
A spokesperson for The Brewery expressed excitement about the rebrand, stating, “We are refreshing our logo and signage to create a cohesive brand identity that captures the essence of our diverse offerings. Whether visitors come for shopping, dining, cinema, bowling, golf, or other activities, The Brewery aims to be the ultimate destination for both daytime and evening entertainment.”
Enhanced Visitor Experience
The rebranding efforts extend beyond just signage, with plans for a new welcome totem that will feature a digital screen or internally illuminated light-box. This modern addition will replace the current welcome signage at the corner of Exchange Street, providing a more engaging and informative entry point for visitors. Additionally, three directory totems are included in the proposal, offering a Brewery site map and directory list to help guests navigate the shopping centre with ease.
The proposed changes are designed to elevate the overall visitor experience at The Brewery, making it a more inviting and interactive space for shoppers and leisure seekers alike. By incorporating innovative design elements and technology, the centre aims to create a seamless and enjoyable journey for all who visit.
The Havering Council is expected to review and make a decision on the rebranding plans by November 11. With the potential approval of these exciting changes, Romford residents and visitors can look forward to a revitalized shopping experience at The Brewery shopping centre. Stay tuned for updates on this transformative project as it unfolds.
